React Native Developer

Jetpacks! is looking for a React Native Developer to join our LatAm team and support the launch of a concierge-style food delivery mobile application for a hospitality and real estate business. In this role, you will focus on completing the mobile application, implementing new features and updates, and ensuring the product is stable, functional, and ready for launch.

Jetpacks! is looking for a React Native Developer to join our LatAm team and support the launch of a concierge-style food delivery mobile application for a hospitality and real estate business.
In this role, you will focus on completing the mobile application, implementing new features and updates, and ensuring the product is stable, functional, and ready for launch.

Role Responsibilities

Continue development of an existing React Native mobile application.
Implement feature updates and changes required prior to launch.
Ensure the mobile application is stable, performant, and production-ready.
Integrate the mobile app with backend services and external systems.
Work with an existing codebase and extend current functionality.
Collaborate with the consulting team and previous developers to understand the architecture and implementation decisions.
Participate in kickoff meetings, regular check-ins, and product demos.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations for mobile development best practices.

How will you be supported

You'll be onboarded to the tech team organization. You will be part of a team and will communicate with them via Slack and Google Meet. Periodic 1-on-1 meetings will be held to ensure you are successful and have a productive and enjoyable experience.

Role Requirements

Strong experience with React Native.
Experience building and shipping mobile applications using Expo.
Experience integrating with REST APIs and backend services.
Experience integrating payment systems such as Stripe or similar solutions.
Ability to work with an existing codebase and continue development.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.
Advanced English level.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Supabase.
Experience integrating with POS systems, particularly restaurant or hospitality platforms.
Experience working on early-stage products or startup environments.
Experience working in consultative development environments.
