Jetpacks! is looking for someone to join our LatAm team as a QA Analyst, with a focus on mobile application testing. The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in QA, experience testing mobile applications and a passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences. In this role you will be helping support and shape the product development, with a desire for continuous learning and a passion for innovation.

Role Responsibilities

You’ll be working for an industry leader in first-and-last mile delivery services with over 4.5 million customers! Due to the growth of our partner’s delivery services their tech team and systems have continued to expand and need to scale. You will be responsible for starting and planning new projects and initiatives, analyzing systems, eliciting and documenting requirements, facilitating solution design, and interfacing with developers and business stakeholders to ensure changes are tested, deployed, and communicated to our end users.

What tasks will you need to complete to be successful?

  • Providing support to client Product leadership in their day-to-day activities and decision-making process across features
  • Learn about their systems; Their solutions are built using the Google Cloud. Most of their customers use their API to calculate pricing, create shipping labels, and to track deliveries.
  • Become proficient in their productivity tools; including Jira, Slack, and Google Docs to plan, document, and socialize changes.
  • Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Understanding and advocating for business and customer needs
  • Find and fix bugs! Uncover bugs, document issues, retest fixes, and help keep our end users informed and happy.
  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team of great people
  • Supporting sprint planning meetings by communicating the feature value and definition
  • Forming a strong and trusted team relationship
How will you be supported

You'll be onboarded to the tech team and project management organization (PMO). You will be part of a team and will communicate with them via Slack and Google Meet. Periodic 1-on-1 meetings will be held to ensure you are successful and are having a productive and enjoyable experience.

What skills or technologies will help you complete the project?

Use of Jira, Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google Docs.

Basic understanding or interest in web services, API, and system integrations.

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar QA role or within software development
  • 1+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements definition
  • Experience in writing test cases and reporting bugs effectively
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum

  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction, and also in a team environment.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with internal staff.
  • Comfortable working closely with cross-functional development teams of engineers, designers, QAs, and Scrum Masters
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks is a plus
